Be a show off on GlobalCampus!

In April, we asked future international students to tell their stories. We wanted to hear about their backgrounds, educational goals and their interests. The Tell Your Story competition was a huge hit and we learned a lot from our student community. We debuted a compilation video of those stories at NAFSA with one message to universities: GlobalCampus students have talent.

The GlobalCampus Partner Scholarship

Type “international scholarships” into Google. You should get about 15 million results.

If you’re a future international student, how do you find the right scholarship for study in a specific university program? How do you sort through the information to know which scholarship is right for you? If you’re a university administrator, how do you get your international scholarships to the right students? How do you get your scholarship and institution seen in a Google sea of scholarship listings?

What would you say to a global student audience?

At GlobalCampus, I spend a lot of time talking with universities and colleges, in the US and abroad. One of my favorite parts of my job is hearing about the variety of programs, lifestyles, and options offered by colleges around the world. The array of options offered to international students globally is exciting and impressive! Though my days of being an international student are over, I love picturing the international student life and programs at universities that I learn about daily.

Social Media in International Student Recruiting and Outreach Survey: Results

At GlobalCampus we connect international students with university staff worldwide. With the rise of social media tools that enable global communication, we’re keen on knowing how students and staff are talking to each other. So while we’re helping university staff scout future international students on GlobalCampus, we’re also tracking trends and information on new communication tools for international education professionals and how they interact.

A Level Playing Field

A recent article on The Chronicle of Higher Education website stressed the challenges for US universities in the booming Indian international education market. Among those challenges was the ability to stand out in a crowded field, attract international students to mid-level institutions whose brand names are unknown, and provide relevant information to the right students. Universities ahoy! The time is here and now...

I became a firm believer of Global Campus because of my background in international student marketing and recruitment. Having spent nearly 10 years travelling around the world, engaging with students, agents and other related stakeholders, it became clear to me that there had to be another, alternative way to reach out to all of them. A way that is practical, resourceful and seamless to those looking for information and to those providing it.
